Joanne Hutchison has been employed by General Services Administration for 35 years. She is a survivor of the bombing of the A.P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. She is currently the Property Manager for the two original Federal Buildings as well as the Murrah Plaza and Parking Garage adjoining the Oklahoma City National Memorial. Joanne resides in Oklahoma City with her husband Gary.

Joanne currently serves as Vice President of the 419 Outreach Committee. She has spoken on issues relating to the prevention of terrorism and her work through the outreach committee to support other victims of terrorism.
